このコースでは、皆さんが大学までに触れる機会の多いアメリカ英語の音声をはじめ、さまざまな地域の英語の音声的特徴を紹介しています。地域による音声面の違いを知ることで、最初に身につけた音のイメージにバリエーションが加わり、聴きとりがしやすくなります。

This course is the online component of the Academic Vocabulary Builder (AVB). It was designed as a TOEFL preparation tool to reinforce vocabulary learned in AVB. However, this course is also useful for the Miller Analogy Test (MAT) and verbal section of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).

This course is available to the general public for free. If you login as a guest, you can attempt the activities and games, but your scores will not be saved, and you will not be able to participate in the forums. If you make an account and enroll in the course, your scores will be saved and you can track your progress. You will also be able to read and post in the forums.
